Pyrex Collecting on the Canadian Prairies

Hi! I'm new here but not new to pyrex collecting. I live up in Winnipeg Canada and spend my days and nights scouring thrift stores for not only pyrex treasure but also items to repurpose.

I've been shopping at thrift stores for decades but it's only the last few years that I've become enamoured with Pyrex. Above is just part of my collection! Find out more about me and my thrifting adventures at PeriwinkleDzyns.

  1. It is such a good, clean, fun hobby!!! And with my student budget, it's feasible to collect. Today I got three pieces at a local thift (large pyrex bowl for hamilton beach mixer, white pie plate, and a promotional utility dish) for just under $5! I had a coupon. Anyway, great collection!

  2. thanks Christina! I never thought of it as a good clean hobby, especially after all the grunge I have to scrub off of old pyrex ;p
